The participants gain the basic theory, underpinning knowledge and teaching concepts that are specific to language teaching. This is achieved via digital access to a collection of video lectures, PowerPoint presentation, research articles and recommended texts covering 14 key topics.
Delivery: Self-study.
Assessment: 100% mark required.

- A confirmation letter issued by the practice providers or local qualified trainers. Witness statements from the trainers, lesson plans and post-lesson reflections
- Minimum 90 minutes (recording accepted) to minimum 5 students per class.
- Minimum 1 activity that shows evidence of participant skills in materials development (A class / learner profile, lesson plan, copy of materials used in the lesson and self-reflection/ evaluation of the lesson ).
